V. About This Page

All of the graphics on this page are my recreations of drawings from the Gemini Extra Vehicular Spacesuit Assembly familiarization manual, published in 1965 by the David Clark corporation. The style of the page has been designed to mimic this manual as well. I wanted to do this as a tribute to my grandfather, Karl Orcutt, who was a technical artist for David Clark, and most likely drew the schematics found in this manual.

The body text is Courier, to match the typewriter text in the manual. My name is in Century Gothic, and any captions/extraneous text is in a font called "TGL", which very nicely mimics the stencil text used at the time.

The page was created in HTML and CSS from scratch. I hope to add some dynamic scripting to it in the future.
